Superstitious

I have always been superstitious, wearing or not wearing items causing bad luck is the one that mostly comes to mind now, making my bed the wrong way, breaking the morning routine, so many others in my daily way of living I'm not aware of doing them.
Now I know the the meaning of "we make our own luck". Bad luck comes from bad decisions, good from thinking a decision to be made through, not in haste.
I have a big decision to make now, but three weeks to do it...should I go to a dentist who looks to be 15 years old, getting a sliding fee of 30% off to have two fillings replaced. Or should I go to another dentist (no sliding fee, but has practiced longer) who will charge an arm and leg, still might not be to my expetations.
I'm leaning toward the 15 year old, and will probably go with her, but if my teeth need to be done over, I will think of it as bad luck, taking a chance for being cheap,, then beat myself up having to take another chance of another dentist doing the work right.
I have to look at this as not bad luck from breaking a routine supersitious act I might not/have done.
I also believe a person can put an 'evil eye' on another thru a seer of sorts, to break it, having to get it removed, if person is known who did it, put one on them. This I haven't thought of in years, living in areas where fortune tellers, crystal balls and tarot cards readers aren't known of.
Going to this dentist is so much on my mind, will it be a bad decision? if so will I blame myself for being cheap?
I have a drop pearl I haven't worn for two years, it once belonging to my mother. I have still had 'bad luck' by not wearing it, so what does that have to do with my bad luck? except making bad decisions?
So many crazy ways I grew up with that are inbedded in my mind, what to do? One thing is to 'press' my luck and put the pearl back on. Will I become such a wreck being aware of wearing it I will blame anything bad, little or large on that pearl?
This will be a test for me, in a way, good dentist, pearl has nothing to do with what might be a bad decision, bad dentist, will blame it on the pearl. Such a dilemma!
