Not so best friend...

I have had this friend for years...literally...At some point it was like we shared the same mind. We agreed on almost everything and where we had different opinions, we agreed to disagree amicably. unfortunately over the past year or more, my friend seems to have changed....drastically and for the worst in my opinion.

Where before we agreed to disagree, she would have a major fit if I saw things differently. She would stop speaking to me and I would miss her and make the first move to reconcile. But then it became the norm. Now I think I have reached the end of my tether. we live in different countries and am currently in her country of residence.

When I came we had not been speaking. I found she was jobless and homeless while the new company I had joined had given me a car and flat for two months so she had somewhere to live for the two months, rent free. She would even use my car to go for interviews etc. but it has been a living hell.

She has a problem with every little thing I do...My boyfriends, my friends, what I buy, how I live, etc. Finally I have made up my mind that when I get back home I shall cut off all contact and that will be it. No hard feelings but I have accepted that we have changed and can never be best buds again.
