Likes more then a friend

I had a friend named B.G. and we were the best of friends. We rode bikes together and etc.. and then i told him that i loved him more then a friend, but he told me that he only likes me as a friend. Then i kept nagging him to be gay with me. Now he and i are not talking to each other. I really want to be best friends with him again.
