Is it Real?

I have known her for a the better part of my life and i'm 32.We lost touch once before because she was hanging out with people that i myself didnt approve of. We rekindled our friendship and it has been back on track for about 10 years now. My problem is that she is involved with a man who 1) is married,and 2) likes to put his hands on her, and 3) doesnt like me cause i tell her she can do better. My problem is she cant talk to me or hang around me when he is around and if they go away for the weekend she cant call or anything, but when she comes back everything is just supposed to be cool. My other dilemma is that about a year ago we were in a car accident together she had some bruised ribs but went home the same night....me on the other hand had broken ribs broken scapula and a punctured lung...stayed in hospital for 7 days. When i was released to my moms house she came that was great( mind u my mom lives in another town), but when i came home (mind u we live in the same town) it took her a month to get to my house. I called her one day to ask her to take me to the post office and she never showed up come to find out her guy was in town and he wouldnt let her. I am still tormented about that and I cant forget it. What should I do?
