Developing Intuition:
Living Life on Purpose with this 5-Step Process.

Developing intuition is an innate skill. It's embedded in all of us and it's our natural way of making decisions.

Unfortunately, after years of second guessing ourselves, we've come to ignore that inner voice and have instead learned how to trust the voice of others.

"Intuition does not reason and it does not need to. It simply knows, instantly. Reasoning goes through a process of analysis and deduction, and then draws conclusions. Intuition does not follow these steps."
Christine Breeze, D.D., Ph.D Founder of the University of Metaphysical Sciences

The goal of this article is to teach you how to trust your intuition and make decisions based on healthy-joyful knowing, rather than "second-guessing" decisions.

Developing Intuition with These 5 Easy Steps

  • Trust Your Feelings..
  • When you are trusting your instinct, you feel good. You are not feeling fearful, doubtful, anxious or frustrated.

When you are doubting yourself and making decisions based on fear, you'll feel frustrated, anxious and distrustful.

Choose what feels good, and you'll be on the path to intuition.

  • Take Some Time to Be with Yourself..
  • The quickest way to question your intuition is to be around negative/conflicting stimuli like the media and the opinions of others.

For this reason, be sure to be alone during a time of decision making. Your intuition will guide you, and again, trust your feelings. If you are feeling uneasy about this decision, chances are, your intuition is giving you a warning sign. However, if you're feeling good about this decision, your intuition is giving you the green light.

  • Sleep on It!
  • Sometimes your own feelings will be in conflict, leaving you confused about what decision to make. When this occurs, allow yourself to sleep on it..give yourself some time to be with your feelings and thoughts before you make a decision.

You will know what decision to make when you feelings have become clearer. Lean toward the dominant feeling your having about the decision. If you're feeling frustration..say no to whatever decision you are debating on. If you're feeling joy about the decision, say yes to the decision.

  • Practice
  • Developing intuition is like any other skill you develop...you practice the skill until it's perfected. Start small on something like making a decision on what type of food to eat for dinner. Use the first three steps on how to make that decision. After you've conquered the smaller decisions, aim for the bigger decisions like what job to take.

  • Keep Track
  • It's easy to lose track of the decisions we've made. If you keep track of your intuitive and non-intuitive decisions, you'll begin seeing similarities of what's working for you and what isn't. All you need to use is a small journal. Anytime you make a decision, write down how you came to that conclusion.

With these five easy steps, you'll be on your way to developing intuition. Overall, trust yourself first and make decisions that will create balance, harmony and joy in your life.
