best friend or backstabber

ok so i have been best friends with * libby since 4th grade. she can be really sweet but is loud and an "ALL TALK" type of person. ive liked this boy * jared since 7th grade and in 8th grade he started talking to me. he had a gf at the time and did alot of things that hurt me.

libby got grossed out if i said anything sweet about him but as my best friend when i was mad at him i vented to her. Now im in 9th grade jared changed for the better over the summer when him and his gf brokeup and i stopped talking to him..when school started i hated him but we eventually reconnected and we are together happily almost 3months.

now i have problems with libby. even though we worked through most and he had a talk with her himself there is another huge problem. jareds ex gf...*manicole she constantly starts rumors about me, she used to text jared and say stuff and wouldnt leave him alone, but unfortunately shes popular since her dad works at the school, and ive STRONGLY DISLIKED her for a long time, before i even talked to jared.

libby knows this, libby has seen and heard manicole talking about me behind my back, she even has dissed manicole with me or totally without me. well guess what...or should i say guess who libby is all cheery with? thats right! manicole :'( i was mad and didnt really talk to her but she asked if i was mad and i said i thought u didnt like manicole and she said i never said that i just said that if she touched u then me and her would have problems... maybe im wrong but i remember her saying she hated manicole anyways now i dont know what to do i feel betrayed and hurt and i dont know if i can trust her. once again she blamed it on my boyfriend! saying that he flaunts me in front of her and acts like he is better(he doesnt he holds my hands and holds me alot but he is always friendly with my friends.)

i dont know if i can trust her since she is totally fake with manicole, or me.... so HELP!! :'(
