Back Stabbing Best Mate?

I have been best friends with a girl I've
known for about 2 or 3 years. At the
start we were ALWAYS together and
we went through a lot of problems
together she helped me a lot.

Then we started hanging around with another
girl who seemed to be a bad influence
on both of us. We started drinking,
smoking & even taking drugs. After a
while my friend started getting very
close to the other girl. They would
exclude me and pick on me.

My so called best friend doesn't seem to
even want to be with me anymore,
and she knows how this makes me
feel as I said it to her before, but I am
sick of telling her how this makes me
feel because she might make an effort
for a while but then she just goes
straight back to her old ways.

Just because I don't like doing some of the
stuff they do shouldn't mean that I'm
different from them. I just don't
understand why things changed all
of a sudden because I'm ten times
the person that girl will ever be?
